1. What We Provide

Faces of WoW is a fan-made, community wall that displays World of Warcraft character information submitted by paying customers. We manually place tiles on a static HTML page. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Blizzard Entertainment in any way.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase on Faces of WoW. By completing checkout you confirm that you meet this requirement. Stripe, our payment processor, independently enforces this requirement as part of their terms of service.

3. One-Time Payment

All purchases are one-time payments processed securely through Stripe. Each payment covers a single character listing — one toon, one tile. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or renewals. Once payment is confirmed your tile is placed permanently on the wall. If you wish to add additional characters, each requires a separate purchase.

4. What You Submit

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the character information you provide at checkout — including character name, realm, and region. We build your tile based on exactly what you submit. We do not verify character data against Blizzard's systems.

By submitting your character details you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to publish it. We reserve the right to decline or remove any submission that contains false, misleading, offensive, or inappropriate content.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not submit character names, bio text, guild names, or any other content that is offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate. You may not submit content that violates Blizzard Entertainment's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, promotes real-money trading, or impersonates another person or entity.

We reserve the right to remove any tile at any time, without refund, if its content is found to violate these guidelines.

6. Third-Party API Data

To enrich tile content, Faces of WoW may pull character data from third-party APIs including but not limited to Blizzard's Battle.net API, Raider.IO, WarcraftLogs, and WoWHead. This data is provided by those services and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.

We are not responsible for any incorrect, missing, or stale information returned by these APIs. We do not guarantee that API-sourced data — including item levels, achievement points, gear, rankings, or any other character statistics — reflects the current or accurate state of your character in-game.

If you believe API-sourced data on your tile is incorrect, contact us and we will review it at our discretion. We make no commitment to update tiles when in-game character data changes.

7. What "Permanent Placement" Means

"Permanent placement" means that once your tile is live on the Faces of WoW wall, we will not remove it without cause. You do not need to pay again, renew a subscription, or take any action to keep your tile on the wall. It stays indefinitely as part of the wall.

However, "permanent" is subject to the following reasonable limitations:

Site continuity. Permanent placement is contingent on Faces of WoW continuing to operate. If the site is shut down, sold, or discontinued, we cannot guarantee ongoing availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice in such an event, but we are not liable for loss of placement if the site ceases to operate.

Content violations. If a tile is found to violate our Prohibited Content policy (Section 5), it may be removed without refund and without notice. Permanent placement does not protect content that breaks these rules.

Tile appearance. You are purchasing permanent placement on the wall, not a pixel-locked visual design. We reserve the right to update, restyle, or reformat tiles as part of ongoing wall maintenance, redesigns, or tier structure changes. Your core character information will be preserved, but the visual presentation may change.

Voluntary removal. If you request removal of your own tile, we will honour that request. Voluntary removal is permanent — if you wish to return to the wall after requesting removal, a new purchase is required.

8. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

Faces of WoW is provided as-is. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding uptime, availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. The site is hosted on third-party infrastructure and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in tile content resulting from information you provided.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Faces of WoW and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or the purchase of a tile.

9. Misrepresentation

We are not responsible for any misrepresentation of character data — including but not limited to incorrect class, realm, guild, item level, or any other details — where that information was submitted by the purchaser. If you notice an error in your tile that resulted from something you submitted, contact us and we will correct it at our discretion.

10. Refunds

All sales are final. Because tile placement involves manual work performed after purchase, we do not offer refunds once a tile has been placed on the wall. If your tile has not yet been placed, contact us and we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

11. Intellectual Property

World of Warcraft, all character names, class names, and related game content are the intellectual property of Blizzard Entertainment. Faces of WoW is a fan site and does not claim ownership over any Blizzard IP. Any character art or custom content you submit must be your own original work or content you have the rights to use.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Faces of WoW shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law. By using this site you consent to this jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
