I cannot even describe how heartbroken we all are who grew up with Kate Donahue. Below are her news stories if you did not hear about what happened to her and her fiance and his family when she went to go meet them over the holidays in Puerto Rico to also celebrate their engagement.

If anyone prays, PLEASE pray for the Donahue and Sanchez Vasquez families as they deal with the cruelest first week of new year's that I have EVER experienced. Below are sites that you can donate or post your support for her cause. The uncle who attacked the 14 people he lured to the house to burn so far has been pre-sentenced for 5 life sentences. Personally I think that the death penalty should be petitioned to really serve justice. The man shows no remorse and when we heard of the attack we were physically ill when we found out as well as absolutely heartbroken. Kate made it for almost a week with over 80% burns and we thought she might make it, but her fiance had died 2 days before that as they were lying next to each other in the burn ward of Puerto Rico just after the family was finally able to get Kate to Miami's burn unit so she could be in the states but with such terrible injuries and the AWFUL attack as well as her fiance passing away, I think God showed her mercy so she didn't have to go through the difficult life she would have had ahead. While a person who ALWAYS had a positive attitude even while struggling, a girl who is just as beautiful on the outside and inside, and a natural born fighter, she would have never been the same. NOTE: I definitely understand that most of the country is really affected by the recession and may not have the means to donate financially. This is understandable and no one will judge you if you cannot donate, even I was only able to do a couple bucks myself- BUT PRAYERS ARE FREE and we just ask that whoever prays to please raise awareness of what happened and the families involved and their struggles. Thoughts and prayers are just as important if not more than money. Thank you guys for reading this insanely long blog. I never met Jesus Sanchez- as we both moved away from Arizona, but he chose a song that describes her so well (Bruno Mars- Just The Way You Are) and I cannot wait to meet him when my time comes and all of us will party in heaven with the Lord, he must be a WONDERFUL man because he actually made the outspoken Kate speechless! Kate is the most selfless and bubbly person I have been blessed to have the friendship of, and her laugh was like heavenly music, and you'd hear it all the time =D She's no longer in pain and by the grace of God, I pray that all these people had their sad and painful memories of what happened taken away from them while they were taken to heaven when their time came (which unfortunately, everyone knows was entirely too soon and this story just breaks your heart). At first we thought it had to have been an accident, none of us expected this to have been a malicious attack on some of the most kind people when we first found out that they had been injured in a fire. GOD BLESS AND LIVE LIFE LIKE IT'S YOUR LAST DAY BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOUR CARD COMES UP! LOVE ONE ANOTHER LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW... because you never know that might be the case!!!
